Hi, Sticki, Cinders and Pixi. Thanks for your comments.
One of mine has been snapped twice with the hosepipe Stickie, (can't believe i did that) can't be fixed but should grow bushier, if you nip the tips back they thicken out.
I can't believe the slugs haven't ate mine Cinders, they had a good go last year, Maybe its because of the new raised bed, and ive been vigilant this year, oh, and the pellets lol.

Aren't they great 'doers' Ydd! but honestly, you should try growing them from seed! They're dead easy and you get dozens for about £2! Get a mixed packet and they'll all be different too! They really have that jungley feel you were looking for!

they do add that extra something Dee, think we are going to get rain again today after a couple od sunny days :o(

Those pics are beautiful, Daisy! I grew some coleus one year and thought they were going to be difficult, but they grew well from seed, and there were loads of different types, as Libet says. Also, if you pinch the tops out before the flowers come, it stops them running to seed and the plants are much bushier. if you grow them from seed, Daisy, you could sell them to the allotment holder next year!!!
Stickitoffee, if you put Vaseline around the outside of the pot, at the top, it keeps the slimy b....s off, because they don't like going over the grease!!
