A trip to an NGS garden at Kensington Road Bristol

Today we went along to Bristol for Grenville and Alan’s open day.
A 90 mile drive from Swansea turned much better as the drizzle cleared for our half hour tour of their tiny but packed tour de force.
Alan opened the door for me and we entered the small but beautiful garden…
Grenville was the perfect host providing tea and a chat and all too soon our half hour was up and just as we left the rain started in earnest..

what a lovely garden. i have been woundering why no contact from them. i didn't know they had left goy. its a pity i always enjoyed their photos and blogs.

Lucky you, seeing it "in the flesh".
Also, think I recognise that Asiatic lily as "Capuccino" (spelling varies), as we have this and it has begun flowering today!
