THEY CAME !!...............

SHIRLEY TULIP AND HER OH, FLORIBUNDA AND HER OH AND CINDERELLA.
What a fantastic surprise to see three GOYs at our open garden on Sunday, a lot of people promise to come and for one reason or another cannot make it, so it was a triple pleasure for me and OH to meet three lovely friendly ladies and their OHs.
Thank you for your blogs ladies you made the garden look pretty good, I am sure you must have air brushed the imperfections, it is certainly not perfect.
I am glad you enjoyed the day out, sorry the weather was a tad cold and grey, better luck next time lol
We had 140 visitors through the gate!! thought we were going to run out of cake..heaven forbid!!
I will try and scan some of the old pics in for you all to see, it might take me some time to get them sorted, so please be patient.
I did not get around to taking any photos of the day, so I am going to post a picture of some cakes our daughter Emma made last week for a party….I think you will find them as amusing as I did.

I told you they would make you laugh!!

Hi Dotty, your garden is so wondeful. Shirley and Cinderella did brilliant blogs which showed the beauty of your garden. You should be very proud.

There was no need for air-brushing ... no imperfections to be seen in your lovely garden. We're so pleased for you having 140 visitors ... and there you were worrying if many would turn up on the day! Great to meet you and your family. Love the cakes too : o ))))

Shirley it will always be a day to remember thanks to friends fromGOY.
YDD so pleased you like the garden, dont worry about the jungle I will post some later on when it really gets going. It was lovely to see our garden through Cinders and Shirleys lens.
Cristina if you want to see the pics look at Cinders and Shirley's blogs.
Dawn thanks very much your very kind.
Whiston it was so lovely of GOYs to travel so far to see us, we were both very touched by the support we received.
Annella and Pam than you kindly.
Libet at one stage I was very worried that the garden would not be up to scratch what with the bad winter dry spring and then gale force winds.
Ha ha geranium, I am lucky to have three talented daughters, must take after their Dad lol

Wow DD - what a treat! I've just looked at your garden through the 'eyes' of Shirley, Cinderella and Flori and thoroughly enjoyed it. Congratulations on what must have been a wonderful (and nerve-wracking!) day - you MUST do it again - I only wish I lived closer.
You've created a beautiful garden there.
(A Gooseberry in a pot - why have I never thought of that? Added it to my list!!!) :-))

Forgot to mention the Sheep cakes! They are great - I could definitely 'dip' into them!!!
:-))

Tet how kind of you, the aim is to raise as much money as possible, we have a lot of family members who have either lost their lives to cancer or living with it....so every ยฃ counts. and to me it is a really selfish way to raise money by doing the job I love.
Muddy we are doing it again on the 26th and 27th June, have already made alterations to the garden!!
Sheep dip ha ha......like it.

Hello Dottydaisy,

I love the pictures of your cup cakes, I looked through all your photos of your open day.

I like your garden very much, everything looked in pristine condition, you must have worked very hard. I could see by the quality of the leaves that everything had been manicured.

I am sure you had a wonderful day and I hope to come along to one of your other open days.

Once more, well done,
Kind Regards
