The plants look so pretty,when they are frosted,don't they? Personally,I prefer the white stuff on the Trifle ! that looks gorgeous..Gobbling sounds about right for that.well done to your granddaughters boyfriend..I bet he is welcomed with open arms :o) x

Happy New Year DD. We still have snow lying around but with the temperature this morning of five degrees and still going up it should melt quickly.

At long last, something in one of your pots that looks as fed up as some of my Heuchera rescue bits DD! I envy someone who has a boyfriend who prepares a very trad looking trifle. I once made one for a summer party, in a heatwave. Not a good idea! Best time is>>. In the deep mid winter/ trifles are the best/cream on fruit/on custard/ on sherry cake/ makes you very merry/ and so on. Not as good as TT. Happy new New Year DD. Photos are lovely.

Thanks Feverfew, the plants are now very, very wet as it is pouring with rain now........never two days the same!!

Bright sunshine today and with higher temps too. My early camellia flowers are now brown instead of pink.The best for braving the winter are the self seeded cyclamen coum corms with their pretty marbled leaves. Marvellous. Love your variegated holly standard DD. Those heuchera leaves should be standing back to attention by now perhaps?

Frost has been a rare sight here this winter and it is so beautiful to see.
