Dd that's a transformation, I never even noticed the neighbours shed at first, then I remembered the blog whereby you were trying to sort out ways to disguise it, the bench and the mirror were made to fit into that arch, it really does look smashing......

Karen it was a perfect day, the weather was bright and sunny and we had 82 visitors, and the soup went down a treat....
Lincs it is funny how things work out eventually, we have nearly hidden the shed lol
Stroller it is not that comfortable!! romantic yes canoodle not really......

Thanks for that Amy, I pruned the Fremontodendron today, horrid plant to work with, and the wrong time to do it, but it was growing towards the light, we have our afternoon tea here, and our coffee etc under the grapevines, it is nice to have different seating areas around the garden, I just hope Crocus will replace the bench, as it wasn't cheap!!

Perfect place for the mirror! It seems such a short time since you were worrying about the huge shed but its much less noticeable now

Stera thats right, luckily plants grow very quickly at the coast, and perhaps positioning the mirror will detract from the shed roof lol

Snoopdog I am posting a photograph of the mirror, a closeup, and then you will understand, it is a real mirror with shutters that open either side....

Perfect position, DD2, something I have always wanted to do in the garden but just don't know where I would put one! I like that it has shutters too, really lovely :)
