What a lovely selection Angela they look so healthy , What did you do with your Loropetalum chinense this year ? I left mine out all winter by mistake it was tucked to one side pending arrangments , its had everything the weather could throw at it ,freezing sometimes but still looks as good as new in fact I don't think it could look better .

I really like your bronze coloured Pittosporum. I've got a variegated one that has grown just so very tall!!! I love the foliage for flower arranging :o)

Petal Pittosporum does well by the coast,it has to be clipped every year here, which I quite enjoy doing! there would be plenty of cutting material for you lol
Hywel thanks, we try to pack in as many as possible....
Sandra thank you, I cannot resist the temptation! couldn't do without our evergreen shrubs and trees!
Dawn pleased you are enjoying the blogs.......
Wildrose I am particularly fond of shiny leaves....
Amy it is planted in the border, has been for a couple of years now, the frost has taken the ends!! since renewing the fence, we have lost all the protection on that side of the garden, which is a nuisance! so pleased to hear you're doing well with yours:-)

Thanks for that Angela I feel happier leaving it outside in future ,shame about you losing the fence protection Hopeful your new plants etc will grow sufficiently to afford more cover next year ...

Amy we had put in lots of fast growing plants, unfortunately not being evergreen they were cut back, will have to change a few things before we have a very cold winter!!

Wonderful display and all named which will be so helpful to new gardeners and us older ones when we want to plant some low maintenance and of course evergreen plants well done !

Dotty, I'm on 'catch-up' with blogs and have enjoyed this very much. Like you, I am a fan of Pittosporums and Photinias but the spotted Aucuba always makes me think a pot of yellow paint has been splashed on it!
