A lovely sunny day , so what better way to spend it than cutting lawns and tidying the borders, hard work but a labour of love, it was great to sit back after I had finished and enjoy the garden with a cuppa;0)
Armed with the Mower and Shears off I go admiring the colours as I pass Polly’s resting place onto the Lawn.
Two hours later tired and with sore knees from all the kneeling Im finally finished, these next shots are taken from different angles of the garden.
The first is looking across the full lawn area.
Right side view, as you can see Im very fond of my Curves;0)
This view puts the Rockery in perspective with the rest of the garden.
Right side again showing views in the background.
Right back end border showing the Lovely Euonymus Standard, Hebe Paget and Daphne Odora.
Looking back now towards the House and Conservatory.
Left hand back corner looking towards the Pond Area.
Full view across the garden taken from the Patio area.
Looking towards side border and the back border,
Planting on the left hand side of Polly’s rockery.
Group of Pots on the left side, can you see your lovely Hebe Sandra its doing very well;0)
Sorbaia Sem planted near the Pond, just love the rainbow colours!
Water Feature and planting on front patio steps area.
View across patio steps from the house.
Well friends thats all for now, thank you for taking the journey with me, enjoy your Gardens;0))

Your garden is truly lovely Pansy,I wish my lawn looked like that and I do like all your curves, I'm afraid mine is badly in need of treatment but I'm loathe to put the stuff down as it hasn't rained in ages (hope I don't regret saying that) I honestly do not know how you have the patience to trim all the edges, your choice of trees, shrubs and plants is amazing, I couldn't choose a favourite spot its all fabulous, however I do envy you the Sorbaia Sem and thats going on my wishlist..
Lovely photo's of a beautiful garden, I enjoyed the tour, thankyou....

Good job we didn't call round to share those lovely scones of yours, with Simon and Clare then,Carole..or I might have had to exchange them for a bigger size :o) I bet Harry was glad ,he didn't have to share his ! Lol
We went to the Foxhouse again, for a lovely carvery..so he was quite safe Lol x
20 Apr, 2014
Sandra, Robin was very pleased to see us, especially as we had goodies, got a lovely suprise too , Ruth one of the carers who works with Robin had done some baking with him and made a lovely big Simmel Cake for us as a present and one for the staff, isnt that kind! We also spent a nice couple of hours with Simon and Clare, sorry but the scones have all gone, but pleased to hear you enjoyed your Carvery;0);0)
20 Apr, 2014
Glad you all had a lovely day,I knew Robin would ! Lol.
What a lovely thought to bake those cakes by one of his carers..has that all gone as well ? not to worry,we have just shared an Easter egg, that Thomas gave us :o)I think he will be five,by the time he gets through the ones he had bought..might have to give him a helping hand :o)
By the way,I found that pink Dicentra you gave me,that I thought I had lost..I don't remember moving it,but I obviously did..it couldn't have got so far away by itself :o)
It was lurking behind a Sidalcea,at the back of the border..Lol.x
