This is the time of year i wait for but it is unbelievably some flowers are already over for another year,so must make the most of the ones out now.

Pulsatilla vulgaris Alba a favorite at this time of year

Pulsatilla Vulgaris

Pulsatilla Rubra

Peony molly the witch in bud

Double Celandine With the red Corydalis still flowering

This is an unusual hybrid Primula I raised about ten years ago and guess what I named it Jamie after you no who.

Anemonella so very delicate I grow it in a pot although it is hardy. As you might expect it belongs to the Anemone family

Anemonella

Section of the staging in the glass house

Another White Primula

Staging again in the glass house shows Peonies just Germinating, circled white

Having seen quite a few pics of Pulsatilla on GoY, I'm going to have to purchase a couple now! Aren't they just beautiful? Jamie's a lucky dog to have a Primula named after him! I hope he appreciates it!! : o ))

Your garden and greenhouse/staging look so alive :) It must give you a lot of pleasure to see everything thriving and so much colour.

The Anemonella are beautiful...do they have another name tagged on? Or would I just look for them in the GC under that name?

It is very hard to pick a favourite amongst your plants, they are beauties, Bjs.

Whistonlass
Anemonellas often have a cultivar name this one is 'Amelia' I think would have to check to be sure.
they vary in shades of pink through to white, there are double forms as well, at price.
Sixpence
The yellow is Draba Mollissima.a soft fury cushion no water on top its roots are out of the bottom of the pot and takes most of its moisture from the sand it sits on.

Lily2
there is so much going on there, they say our make up is complicated ,but is it any more so than that.the stamens all holding there pollen ready to pollinate the stigma.if it is not cross pollinated from another plant, which is natures preference.

what beautiful plants ~ i thought one of them was in the GC there were so many and in such good condition.

that white pasque flower is really beautiful, i have the reddish one but i like that white one better than mine.

The Anemonella is beautiful. My Peony root cuttings are doing well. No sign yet of the seeds!!! Everything is so much further on than here in the north.

It must be a joy to enter your glasshouse and see all those beauties and Jamie must a very proud boy having his name bestowed on that gorgeos primula. Thankyou I did enjoy seeing all your plants...

Hi Brian, lovely collection which I really should have come to see..walking and steps not an option at present, not your steps anyhow!! Im managing to get around to my lot but it takes me half the day at present.
My Molly is thriving. She is still in the greenhouse, but I will harden her off over the next few weeks and she will be ready to put in the garden!
I love the little pulsatilla and the white primula..I seem to have a penchant for white lately.
Hope you and the family are well..big hug for Jamie of course. Tell him I havent forgotten his noisy surprise lol!
