After the Ice age

Have recently looked at the lovely collection of Fossil’s that lindak posted this prompted me to look at my one and only one ,it is an Ammonite about 8 inches diameter which was dug up by workmen a few miles north of Bristol when they were digging out for foundations to a building my company was erecting. This i believe would be very close to where the Glaciers stopped after there journey from the north.
It now lives in one of my plant troughs.and for its age is very well preserved and bright so thought it warranted a name as it been with me a long time,so settled for the name VAL. it seemed to tick all the boxes.

It bears a striking similarity to it's namesake Brian as unlike most old fossils it doesn't show it's age at all! LOL. By the way, when are you leaving the country???

What a fantastic find and so lucky you have it looking after it.
I think that Brian was trying to say his friend Val looks well for her age, but I think reading this she might not take it that way, so Bristol had riots, I can see head lines Bristols first hit man lol hehe haha wounder will it be a mersonary she will employ :o)) lol.
