A few Primulas

As some of you know Primulas are dear to my heart.The first picture is Primula Forrestii First collected in China by Forrest about 150 years ago and is known for its longevity,in the past i have grown the same plant for 14 years which is nothing compared to there life span in the wild where 100 years has been recorded.they are unusual in that they form a woody trunk over a period of time.And there seed staying viable for 8-10 years which i can vouch for.

The next is an unamed hybrid i raised a few years ago between a Auricula and Pedemontana.

the last one is the same cross done years back and named after my wife Pauline ann

the last two are that comes from the wild Auricula which is scented.
Pleased you like the Info its amazing what you can find out about plants and trees if you take the time to look.
