My dogs couldn't stand the hairdryer. Luckily they were short haired!
Heaven indeed Bjs. My Semps are all settling in now and looking really healthy.
Love that Flame azalea, it certainly stands out.

A most interesting blog - shows how important it is to be careful positioning new plant life - height, width, and colour should be considered for future years.
Thanks for the excellent example which helps members with a 'blank canvas' .

hi Brian,
good job.

The cream hosta wouldn't be 'white feather' by any chance Brian? Ive just seen the previous photos of Bobs tree peonies, they are all just stunning. His garden will live on through yours and all the seedlings you've distributed, which I hope will be a comfort to him.

Poppy yes White Feather is what it was bought as,it was given to me by my sister in law.

Brian my Paeonia Lacinate Smoothii is looking really good. No flowers but maybe next year. P. Tenuifolia has a similar leaf and is red too. What an interesting Hosta.

Linda doesn't always show in the Pictures but Tenuifolia is a much brighter Red and the leaves finer.

The pale mauve of the rhodedendron is so very pretty and the whole plant looks beautiful. I wonder which dwarf it is....couldn't possibly be 'Grumpy'.......'Sleepy' perhaps!

Wildrose
Just googled it,problem I have is memory and while I label thing when I have them some like this one is now so large I can't find the label even if it is still there.
Name is 'Hoppy' it has to be as its the only Lilac one.
I did have six out of the seven but lost one for sure.
I know where 'Grumpy' is just coming into flower

Oh Brian, how glorious. I loved the haberlea, which is new to me, the peonies, the Primula geranifolia and the semi-aquilegia in particular, tho' everything looks great. I hadn't seen semis before but bought one, 'Sugarplum Fairy', a couple of weeks back and it's a beautiful plant.
