Iris not what I expected !

Sorry Bjs no ideas from me but I wanted to say it is beautiful whatever it is, amazing colour. :O)

lovely looking iris the leaves look interesting too.

It is beautiful in form and colour Bjs but I do find it irritating when its not what it says on the packet.

I grew chrysohraphes from seed and it looks very like this in form and has the gold flecks,mines almost black but I have seen them in very dark blue too, maybe worth googling :-), mine should be open maybe tomorrow .

I just googled Bjs and there is a picture that looks just like yours. :-)

Maybe an answer there then, whatever its name its a stunning colour.....

Have Googled it and certainly looks right ,mine is actually darker than the pictures came out almost black in bud will have another look at the gold bit tomorrow ,the pics I looked at on line show a variable amount of gold on them.
