A few more of my small bulbs are providing a little colour and encouragement during these very short days,
Hope they brighten your day
Outside and inside same bulbs
This Colchicum is minute no larger that a ten pence piece when fully open
A number of Snowdrops are starting to open inside, and outside ones that normally flower late December will be in flower in a couple of weeks if it stay this mild.
Many more bulbs are pushing up through the ground many at least a month early
Enjoy.

They are all beautiful and lovely to see at this time of the year , I've noticed tips of daffodil pushing through also the Spanish bluebells are a good few inches tall , what amazes me most is the second new flowers coming along especially roses and Clematis ,I expect a frost will see them off ! the Penstemons haven't stopped flowering at all ...

You just can't beat a snowdrop for lifting the spirits, takes you back to childhood when we all looked to be the one to find the first in flower.

They are really lovely Brian. The first photo is my favourite. I don't have any bulbs pushing up except my Iris danfordiae which are in pots in the greenhouse. The amount of rain we've had, I'll be amazed if they're not all rotten!

They're really lovely and early too.
It's made me think, I'll have no early bulbs to look out on this coming spring. The house we are moving to has a virtually empty garden.....but, I'll soon change that!

Yes, Steragram, but I think what with the move and my Father Christmas bookings, I won't get round to it.I can't see me getting to shops or garden centres!
Although, thinking about it...some of the pots I'm taking with me have crocus bulbs and one has Hyacinths, I think!

Lovely pictures, Brian. Lots of bulbs are pushing up really early, and other things are flowering late. It's been a really topsy-turvy Autumn. Very interesting, though!

I will never tire of seeing these little treasures, their colours are so springlike and definitely cheer up the short, dull days at this time of year.
