After our baby Bluetits fledged recently, and I missed them,we were so happy to see that one of them, paid a visit to the Feeders, last weekend.

All of a sudden we heard such a commotion from behind the fence, and the little thing flew quickly away.We were absolutely stunned to see what appeared !!

It clung on for ages, before disappearing again into the long grass behind the fence. It had no chance really,as so noisy.the fence is quite high at the other side, and nothing to grip on to,but so glad it didn’t succeed. We knew there were at least two baby bluetits that fledged, but sadly only seen one…It hasn’t put it off though, and comes every day now,and mum and dad too. All’s well that ends well we hope…

Yes,I know,Dylandog, just being silly,so quite normal for me then Lol. II haven't seen this one before,as only one cat lives near us,and it wasn't her.

That's a beautiful photo of the young Bluetit, so pleased it's back in your garden, |Sandra. The cat's quite pretty too, shame it's on the prowl though.

Don't need to be sorry,Dylandog,its a pretty cat..new kid on the block,I think.Lol.
Its only doing its natural thing, but would have been upset,if it had caught it...

What a shock for the baby bird....and you Sandra!!......Is that a bell I spot round the cat's neck?....if so that is good......any bird will be warned when he/she is on the prowl....

Lovely photo`s Sandra and pleased to see the fluffy babe, pretty cat but at least its a noisy one so the little birds stand a better chance.......
Just thought, have you put the pics on the bird site ?????

It was,Louise, and yes,it did have a bell round its neck, but we didn't hear it.,but baby did, along with all the other racket...The feeder looks so near the fence on the pic,but Russ zoomed in to get a better shot. It is a good 2ft away,so would have had to jump anyway.
Thanks, lincslass, and no I haven't joined yet, seem to have been so busy on here.Maybe I should, along with the bird box and parents, before they fledged..Will do it when I have a quiet moment...gardening as well, and all that Lol.

I also missed my baby blue tits fledging Bloomer! I haven't caught sight or sound of them since....think they've gone off into the hedges and woodlands...probably safer there, there are loads of cats around us...not to mention molly the jack russell terrorist..not that she'd ever catch anything but she certainly tries!! :)) lovely pic of the baby! :)
