Just a few last photo’s ,before they are consigned to the Compost bin..hopefully,not just yet ! even Poppy,my little shadow, was enjoying a good sniff at them, when she was visiting with our Daughter and Grandsons.:o)

Sorry this appears sideways.I had turned my camera around to get a long shot of a Zebra Grass, with old faithful ‘Empress of Prussia’ fuchsia..it’s the right way up on my garden File..

Front bed..some of you may remember the Choisya Sundance, which got a savage Chelsea Chop,a few years ago..? but look at her now ! Lol.

One of the Pyracantha’s on the back wall..The small Pittosporum ‘Tom Thumb’ in front ,is the cutting I took a long time ago ! I can’t believe I persevered with it so long ! ha ha.

Thank you for looking..xx

Thank you Hywel..We had some fun comments from Annella about the Choisya ,didn't we? It's definitely a survivor..Poppy is adorable, and she follows me everywhere when I see her..a lovely nature too :o)

Great to see so much colour. I've started the slow tidy up into winter.

I don't like to think of those lovely potfuls being consigned to the compost bin yet - a little respite please...
Have you been polishing Poppy?

5 Oct, 2019

Yes, I agree with Stera, those beautiful pots of colour must be allowed to remain for a little while longer - everything has done so well for you.

Poppy has definitely stolen your heart - I can see why, she looks so soft and velvety.

Pyracantha is stunning. Will the birds eat the berries or are they not nice!?

Thank you Linda..It's a slow tidy up for me too,..very slow.!
....
Poppy is no exception to looking good in red with their colouring,do they,Angela, very in the fashion mode :o) xx..
.......
Thank you Shirley..I shall hate it when it's all gone, but bought some Viola's and Polyanthus to replace some of them..x
.....
Thank you Siris, and Stera, ha ha..I shall hate consigning them to the Compost bin too..but they will make some "Black Magic" for the borders :o) Poppy does look as though she has been polished, doesn't she? if only my hair looked as shiny !!x
.....
Thank you Chris..I think we all lament the passing of all the bright colours in our gardens..The birds do eat the Berries of all three of the Pyracantha bushes, usually starting with the Orange, moving on to Red,and finally the Yellow berries.Their least favourite,it seems, but at least it's food when necessary..as for Poppy, yes, she has stolen my heart..and knows it !! :o) x

They won't be going in any bin yet Sandra, they still look amazing, I do remember that one getting the Chelsea Chop, best thing you did wasn't it, lovely size and shape, always worry a bit when I do that but usually turns out well as yours has done. Poppy is so cute and yes her coat is glowing, we now have an extra pooch, we already had Pepper from when my sister first went into hospital, she is a member of the family now albeit a very noisy one at times...

I think they will be ok for a while yet Sue..I have taken cuttings from a few,eg.Pelargoniums,Penstemons, and saved some seed heads..Winter bedding plants are still in my cold frame till l get a couple of empty pots.
So glad Pepper
So glad Pepper seems to have settled in so well with you and your Family now..she seems to be asserting her position ,and letting Brynner and your other pets know she is not to be trifled with..Lol. xx

Your garden always fills me with envy, so neat and lovely. you have a good eye (not sure about your other one) and seem to know what goes with what. Obviously poppy also looks good in your garden:-))

Ha ha,Ba ,you always did make me laugh,my friend :o) but now I've had Cataracts removed from both eyes, and don't need to wear glasses, anymore except for reading.I no longer need a telescope for distance ! .Just make sure I'm not watching you from afar ! Lol..Thank you for liking my garden, and Poppy is a lovely asset ,isn't she ? :o) xx
