Project Waterfall up and running

Hi all, exciting news today. Took hubby to the aquatic centre to look at Rockway pieces for the intended waterfall in our back yard. We got carried away and ended up buying 3 pieces of pre-formed rock and a pond! The rock was on offer so we saved £90 which will go towards a pump and filter later.
Back home we soon had the area cleared and the spiders chased away. The pieces of rock look much bigger when you get them home but I’m sure it will all come together eventually. Hubby is going to make a frame on which the rock pieces will rest and another frame for the pool to sit in. We can’t dig down as there are pipes below the concrete.
You can see from the photos there was a site inspection from two of the family Sooty and Dingle. The other two Leicester and Hush-Mush are pretending not to be interested. Must go now – I need to research pumps and filters…

It is exciting to see a new project under way. Ponds and waterfalls are great. I'm sure you will both have a lot of enjoyment from yours in the future. I see you already have a lovely selection of plants.
I look forward to seeing the project completed :).
