2nd Instalment. Garden Show.

Yesterday I showed you mostly the Dahlias, so today I will show a few other things that fascinated me at the Bath & West Garden Show. I will start with the giant vegetables, which I didnt think were as large as last year, but still large. Also I did say hello to fellow Goyer Treesandthings, Dan, who was taking part in a competition there, but as he was in the middle of making his garden I couldnt talk to him for long, and we had to leave before the end so I don’t know how he got on, which is frustrating, but perhaps he will come on and tell us. Anyhow, enough waffle, here are the pics.

Loved these Chrysanths

The only streps I saw…

This begonia was Best in Show. Gorgeous. Such a small pots for the size of plant

just beautiful, i can tell you enjoyed yourself!! were those alpacas ~ or llamas crossed with poodles? i liked them whatever they were.
oh and the watering can ~ thats great fun!!

4 Sep, 2011

Well there wasnt a sign up, I thought they were llamas, but the more I think about it, they could have been alpacas couldnt they. The watering can, well I don't know what you could do with that, apart from a feature.

That begonia, how do they get them like that, the pot being so small there couldnt have been much soil in it.

Just Googled Alpaca's and I would say it definitely is.

Well I did get tempted, and now I don't know where to put the plants I bought. So they are staying in the pots for a few days while I think about it !!!

Sorry to be so late to this blog, Cinders! ... Those vegetables are amazing ... you could feed a small family for a week on the Cabbage alone . . . . .
