they are lovely, I agree with you about having ago at painting, my mother started at 70 and has recently had some pictures on display at the local library.

Looking at your paintings makes me think I should get my brushes out agin. They are lovely you must have a lot of patience.

They are brilliant, cmsue - you have a talent there! And as you say, it's never too late (I didn't start till I was 55, and it's fun and absorbing).

What media are they? Just wondering if they are acrylic - they don't look like oils?? The snow on the trees would be difficult with watercolour . . .

Thank you all for your kind comment's.Yes they are Acrylic, I only paint in Oil usually,Like my Elephants and Tigers, but i find it to difficult on the minitures, so i use Acrylic

they are great sue, so hard to do such small paintings, you must be patient, what are they painted on, love the birds especially :o)

Hi Sanbaz,thankyou ,They are proper bought canvases,The problem is you have to have a heavy base coat,I used Acrylic.I can let you have the address if you wont it

Hi Sanbaz,I do both, I have a couple of friend's with dolls house's,and they ask me to paint some for them,and i Sell them,It helps to buy some more paint.

thats great sue, it gets expensive doesnt it, i find im buying something ever week, if not a canvas then paint or a brush, but i enjoy it so its all worth it.maybe i will sell some one day when i get to be good enough :o)

I have seen your paintings they are very good,i dont know about you but i can lose hours when i get started painting,but it takes me so long to do one,never mind its only myself i have to please.

thankyou sue, how kind, i do enjoy it like you and yes it does pass hours away so fast, im going to carols later, the lady who runs our ruesday class, she is giving me some time to help me inprove, really nice of her, then art tomorrow, anyway keep painting and enjoying :o))

hi sue iv done quite alot on painting today, started on the flowers and im happy so far, maybe in a couple more session to finish, carol said its looking lovely :o)), think when you like gardening it helps with flowers as we are looking at them all the time, will post when its done, but could be a couple of weeks :o)

i do think flowers are hard sue, if you dont get the shading or shape right its a nightmare, i tried a rose when i started lol, it was awfull, i will try again some time. i might do a bit more today as dont feel like going anywhere with this cold lingering on.looks like the sun is going to be shining here to, but best keep warm, enjoy your day :o)

Hi Sanbaz, The sun has been out all day here,so we have been back on the moors again, I hope you feel better soon,you have had that cold far to long ,a drop of port and brandy would be in order i think hehe
