Hauled our as**s up the Tor at last! :)

Well, we finally made it to Glastonbury on Saturday. The weather was gloomy but still so not too cold. On a clear day we can see the Tor from our home, but not on Saturday. The views were somewhat limited. However, we had a good time and it was fun. I was very stiff afterwards! The town itself…disappointingly scruffy. However, the Tor has a wonderful peacefulness about it. The thought occurred to me that should I collapse from a coronary, it wouldn’t be a bad hill to die on! lol Thankfully I survived.

Great photos. I have never been there or even seen it from a distance. Looks quite a climb. Very impressed!

Thanks for sharing with us. Went there years ago, I might find the climb a bit taxing now. Glad you made it without mishap, well worth the effort, Lovely views.
