If you like herbs

We were discussing with Amy the other day, propagating herbs, I thought I would share a place to buy herbs that are reasonable, ie £1.99, free delivery if you spend £10 and a 20% discount code is available and there’s a good choice too. It’s a Gardening Club but I can’t tell you the name of the Gardening Club as it’s a S****t. ;-)

Thanks for that...never thought of using them. I did try once, but couldn’t make the basket work. Must try again some time! Btw, my basil is a mass of roots in just a few days! I’ll be potting them up today!

Haha, no idea what the 'Secret' is but their perennials are so reasonable for example this week they had Geranium Rozanne for £1.99, I've recently paid £7 for the same size pot!

I read somewhere... (senior moment, don't ask me where) that scab on apples can be controlled or eliminated by planting chives beneath the trees.... I'm trying it. My new chives have bloomed and gone to seed so I just take a handful of the seedy blossoms and spread them under the apple trees. fingers crossed!

Lori, I just googled that and yes! It does. It can take up to three years to work, but I for one will definitely be doing it! Thank you. X http://msue.anr.msu.edu/news/growing_chives_smart_gardening_tips_for_success

Dotty, I've found if I've received a dodgy one they refund you, no quibble. Today I received from them Cyclamen hederifolium and a nice hardy chrysanthemum Clara Curtis oh and a nice Aster x frikartii 'Monch'
