Thanks Seaburn. I was thinking about Barbara Spritzhenry today, any idea how she's doing?

You have a beautiful garden Dawn and it looks lovely in the autumn. I love those single Chrysanthemums, they always look cheerful, but I can never grow them.
I spied a nice little bench there to sit on :)
I also miss Spritzhenry and wonder how she is.

Lovely Autumnal colours ... love the reflection in the water.

Thanks Shirley.
Thank you Hywel. John made me the benches out of railway sleepers I have a couple more on two sides of the pond.
I picked the chrysanthemum up at an Open Garden, the lady said it was from her dad's garden, I haven't known what to expect until this week when it started flowering, so its a single, thank you

All are beautiful and create the true feel of Autumn especially the hedge and the seat against the lovely background. A sense of everything ready to shut down.

I spy some great walks around your property, Dawn, and the colours are a lovely bonus.

Spritzhenry is fine, she is on FB and is still creating lovely winter containers, not lost her touch....I will tell her that you were asking after her.....
I too love the bench I was going to have one of these next to our tiny barrel pond, but it would take up too much planting room....shame!

Lovely subtle colours Dawn. Fewr flowers but every season has its own beauty.
Thank you for the news Dottydaisy. I have missed her and her lovely dog whose name I forget.

Lovely to see the autumn colours in your garden, Dawn! That hedge is spectacular! I've never seen the Chocolate Vine before! The Cyclamen at the end of your blog look as if they are playing Hide & Seek & have just come out to say "Boo!"

Stera her old dog was called Henry, I cannot remember what she called her latest....

After Henry passed away she got a Cocker Spaniel called Widget ... he features in a blog posted in July 2016.
