Gardeners World Live NEC Birmingham

Have had a lovely day out again at the show, getting a dab hand at it now as we have been going for about 14 years now, and lovely weather this time for a change!! Plant selection pretty much the same but when you already have a few you are looking for something a bit different which you don’t always get and fairly expensive in the Marquee, but there were some reasonably priced too on the outdoor stands.
Didn’t really buy much this year, got some Achillea to replace ones that have not appeared this year, also got me a canna to try in the border, a chilli plant and another Gillenia to go with one I already have.
Here’s a few photos, the show gardens did look lovely this year, thank you for looking in :-))

I have just written a blog about the show and was interested in how other people got on. Lucky you to find space enough to take photo's.
True that many of the plants you see at the shows are the same, spectacular and immaculate, but the same.
I too didn't buy much, just browsed, the one I wanted he had sold out of, on the first day, but came home and bought it on the internet!

Thanks Gg, yes I think the gardens were better this year and yes it was hot and stuffy in the Marquee we needed to go for a breather outside!! Just watched the programme, very good :-))

Great photos Daylilly. We went on the Sunday. Only downside is trying to avoid the heat of the day they were already breaking some of the show gardens down by the time we got round to them.
Lovely gardens. Loved the nostalgia garden. I'll try to post a blog later.
