Thanks everyone. You're right Waddy, the whole garden was desperate for rain. And you're right too Hywel, it's my haven.

Your garden is absolutely lovely and doesn't seem to have had an ill effects, even the roses look smashing, considering the strength of some of the deluges parts of the country have been receiving its a relief to most of us, admittedly yesterdays didn't arrive here, our roses are a lot different now to the ones of the past and now just seem to bounce back, like us they must be getting used to it, lol...........

Thanks Lincs, we had another storm last night and now the roses have suffered a bit. Sarah, it's not always that neat! But we're going away in a couple of days so I put in some hard work before we leave so that it's not too much of a jungle by the time we return! Trouble is, after last night I'll have to go round the roses again.
