A sad day

I just thought that i would let you all know that lovely Douglas passed away today…we were going to adopt him as we had been visiting him and had grown quite attached to him… he was so beautiful but sadly this weekend he became very unwell and this afternoon he went to sleep and at least he is not suffering anymore…god bless beautiful Douglas xxxxxxxx

I'm sad for you, Elsiemay. It is so hard when we become attached to an animal and it will be disappointing and upsetting that you didn't get a chance to have Douglas home with you.
RIP Douglas....and good for you and OH for attending to his needs and getting him to the RSPCA to be cared for. His last days were much better for him than being a stray and possibly hungry or injured and no one to help him.

Douglas is not suffering now Elsiemay, you can take comfort from the fact that in his last few weeks he was cared for which is thanks to you and your caring attitude........

It's very sad when you get attached to animals and they pass away. He had some great times though and you made him a very happy puss I'm sure.

You did all you could Elsie , at least he knew someone cared for him and was warm and comfortable at the end , he sleeps in peace .. ..
