Karen’s gifts

Karensuan63 did a blog on how she divided her Heuchera Blackberry Jam and got a lot of babies from it – I jokingly asked her if she’d swop one for a baby Carex, of which I had several going spare.
It was a joke, well, half-joke, never really expected her to take me up on it, but …
I was amazed to find that she’d sent me three babies, of different varieties: Blackberry Jam, Hollywood, and one unnamed (which I’m going to call H. Karen till we find its proper name).
These three plants were the first to be potted on my new-look worktable.
H Blackberry Jam
H Hollywood
H Unknown (but H Karen to me)
I hope that my skill will match Karensusan’s generosity, and that these babies will grow into something to show off – and to share in turn.
ps: And a second thank-you for the practical demonstration of how to pack larger babies safely without using a whole roll of tape!

lol there's a lesson for me, and should I forget, I've got the pics to remind me. I tend to the "overkill" end of the scale.
I still can't quite get over how lovely GoYers are, how generous. lol we should be ruling the wrold.

lol but we're too nice - unless we treat crime etc as a bad aphid attack, then we'd be ruthless in stamping it out!

lol Annella, I meant take instant and lethal action against the pests - but maybe dousing louts in soapy water might do some good.
Thanks TT, Lincs and Scotish; I've been checking them about twice a day since I put them outside! the two H Plum Puddings I got from Lidl seem to be doing well - hadn't thought about dividing them when I repotted them last year (their first year), but hope will remember to think of it next spring.

About the same, Linda, so far as I can remember - but these were bigger babies and so needed a bigger box. lol both were certainly better than the ones I made!
Thanks, Stevie, fingers crossed they'll carry on as well as they started.
