Marigolds

Plants in the Tagetes genus are commonly known as Marigolds. The genus contains both annuals and herbaceous perennials and originates from the Americas.

There are several types of marigold; the common name African marigold usually refers to hybrids of Tagetes erecta, and French marigolds are Tagetes patula
