I have this one and another with a much bigger flower head which is also a dark blue~I will get some seed from both if anyone wants some~they do take about three years to flower from seed though!

~No Paul it is in a pot as all mine are~I did a repot on one last year when I halved it and put the halves in two deep pots~they are growing well but not going to flower now~ maybe next year!I will have seeds for this one if you want some!

They say that you have to wait a few years for flowers after dividing, don't they.
Seeds would be great. Although I've never grown these from seed, have you???

~no but I am going to this year~I have another one which has really thick strong stems and is another shade of dark blue~ not in flower yet and I am definitely going to take seeds and try them.
I have a lot of seeds from last year that I didn't get to use but I don't know what the viability will be~ they take a long time for the seed to ripen after flowering so may be a while!

Stunning shade of blue Arlene ! I've had some that have been in the ground for 5 years now and they have never bloomed. I'm digging those darn things up next spring and putting them in a pot !

Lol :) They'll do much better in a pot Flcrazy, they like to be pot bound before they flower (and feed them weekly, with a high potash food such as tomato food);)
