Is this an internet mock up? as I hate to say this but the bike would have to be there for donkeys years for the tree to grow over it like that and the bike is not rusty or rotted, even the tyres are intact?

I wouldn't post it if i knew it was, but i'm not sure that it isn't now that you mention it. A friend sent it to me from an album of his called 'indian travels' so i presumed it was legit. I can see some rust and i'm not sure about the degradation speed of rubber,though if it is in India, i wouldn't be surprised if the owner of the tree maintains the bike :)
I am not sure what tree it is or the growth rate of the tree in the climate that its in. I'd like to think it real though, i'm a believer. Or a fool. Take your pick :))
