Moon Through the Poplar

Moon Through the Poplar

The sky was such a nice evening blue at my friends I had to take a shot. Then I leapt into the car, Poplar always creak and whine and really terrify me a bit in the dark.....lol.

I'm glad you all like the shot. Thanks for the comments. And the fav Bonkers. :-) I love the evening sky.

There could have been wolves, I lived in poplar on a hillside all alone for years and never liked the wood in the dark. Scares me tooo much. Creaks and snaps, and I always felt eyes on my back (probably just paranoia). I appreciate my street light these days. :-)

Great photo GT! It makes me think of hooting owls and wings in the darkness...yep, a wee bit spooky for me too, lol!

Thank you GZ. Iconic image. :-) Those woods sounds scare me. I'd never lived beneath trees before, all bumping and groaning around you.

LOL...GT...I am glad you were able to get this shot...it is so wintery...love it...

Thanks. These friends have offered I move in here when/if they move. There is running water on a nice warm hill. And this creaking woods that would keep me inside. Lovely and light in summer, dark and shady in summer. Lots of mosquito. I'm not sure yet. :-)

Running and water and a nice warm hill sounds awfully good..how would it be for gardens in the summer with the shade? You can wear moquito repellant..you have to anyway don't you... giggle..the trees won't hurt you GT...They will give you lots of delight watching birds and look how lovely they are in the moonlight...

Its many wonderful skies. But we'll see. It is smaller than my current cabin, because of the bathroom and no upstairs. There's an old stable yard for animals that I could till into a wonderful garden there. That would be thrilling. :-) The only sun spot, right there, where the trees were cleared.

Is there room inside for your grow lights and indoor plants..I know you would need those through the winter almost worse than some of the amentities...
