Lovely bird to see in the garden Amy, havent seen any since last year when they stripped all the buds from the Rowan tree!

Thanks everyone , they have been frequent visitors this last few days , they do seem to appear just before spring they have a habit of pecking off new buds , last year they pecked off the new growing shoots on my Mistletoe they did recover slowly , I have covered them with chicken wire this year ....

Lovely picture. We used to get bullfinches in our other garden before we moved here. They only stayed a few weeks. Beautiful birds aren't they.
