OH made some trellis for the Clematis to grow up, looks better now as it has taken the bareness off the new fence...

Oooh, a new one on me A. Thank you...I shall look it up! Oh yes, yours is the best pic on the web! It's really lovely!. Last autumn I planted a C. Kousa 'Miss Satomi'. I have Cornus Kousa and Cornus Florida as well. They are all alive, but sooooo slow! As you know, I have Cornus Mas as well and it grows much stronger than the ones with bracts, and Cornus Controversa (how on earth do I get these all in?) but I really love Miss Satomi with the salmon pink bracts. Can't wait for them all to start flowering!! I should have just had the whole blooming garden full of Cornus! :))

Karen just how do you get all those Cornus in your garden they are not small by any chance, the Miss Satomi is a beauty, I might get another, thinking of taking out the Acanthus it has doubled in size and is going to be difficult to control, have cut about 10 leaves off it already.....
Thanks again Nana for your kind comments.
