I haven't seen any of mine yet, either! These are lovely ... a real sign of spring and better days around the corner. Thanks for sharing them with us.

These are really advanced - mine too are tight buds. Even with the snow it's so much milder where you are. Still, everybody else's will still be flowering when yours go over. Swings and roundabouts, eh?

Perfect Spritz! Yep, we're on the way up!!....!

It went back down to 3 degrees today, but no snow, thank goodness. :-))
You're right, Wagger! LOL.

No more snow Spritz...but freezing cold and very hard frosts ! Only sign of snowdrops is a bit of foliage emerging..............

We've had snow again last night and this morning but the rain has washed it away thank goodness. The snowdrops are lovely and such a cheery sight at this time of year

It didn't reach as far west as us - thank goodness. Gloucestershire was badly hit, though. Yes - I wait and watch for the first snowdrops every year! :-)

I'm not very lucky with snow drops, they say to plant snowdrops when they are in flower, so i'm going to get some when i see any in GC.

wow great to see someones first snowdrops... mine havnt appeared yet...... i was just wondering when someone would put some pics up......lovely to see them..........

Carol - get them 'in the green' which means when the flowers have finished but while the leaves are still there. If you can fit in a hundred, which isn't that many, you can get them from a bulb firm for about £8.
PM me if you want any info on where.
21 Jan, 2010
i have just noticed them starting to peak between the fallen leaves.

Thank you Barbara no sign of mine yet in the garden.

That's why I can't have Narcissi in the lawn, Homebird! He would mow right over them. :-(( At least a lot of my snowdrops are in the borders, and a lot round the trunk of the ash tree - the grass there doesn't need cutting until the snowdrops have finished. :-))

Thanks Barbara for the info ...
