Crocosmia Lucifer.....

Crocosmia Lucifer..... (Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora (Montbretia) Lucifer.)

I noticed some of the flowers looked rather strange, on closer inspection I found a nasty green caterpillar curled up in the flowers which had obviously had a few meals at my expense!!

My Lucifer is full of bloom, such an intense red against my White Galega.

Well, my galega has just started to flower, but its definitely not crocosmia time here yet. Much to my relief as thats the plant that hails the start of the end of the summer! I still have flowers on my Dicentra spectabilis! I do!
