I more tripped over them Amy, as these were not where I thought that they were!!

I lost all mine to the rabbits last year, got them back this year as I managed to block their entrance to the garden this year, I love these.

Michealla - I'm fighting a battle with Lily Beetles on mine this year.

Lulu - just under two weeks now! Tried to buy it four years ago, but it all fell through.

SL - I'm being selective! The Aconitums come, as does the Asphodeline. My Alstromeria is lifted and raring to go, along with the Uvularia (which is almost in bloom). The wandering Campanula have had runners saved, plus a few other plants.

Believe it or not, I've lost my Polygonatum (Solomons Seal)!

One was the metalicy blue, plus a couple of navy blues too. Best of all, I have seedlings for A.hemsleyanum (a climber). Interested?

Incredible! It looks similar to a tulip. Is it?

It is of the same family (Lilaceae) as Tulips are, but Fritillaria is a distinct genus.
Lily beetles love them!

I would have thought full sun really, as in the wild they grow in grass meadows. Would probably take light shade though.

Surreylad - the polygonatum has turned up! Just not where I thought it was!!

isn't that always the way, my red Dicentra turned up as well...

I'm sure that it was somewhere else though.............

is it a fair distance away or could it have spread there and the original died off ?
