What a lovely interesting part of your garden Janey I love the Owl too! Your Phormium looks in much better shape than mine, its taken an awful battering think I may have to cut most of the leaves off ;0(

Amy...we had some SUN yesterdayand everything looks so much better....back to the white coats today though......and snow for the plants..Lol!
What do you think his name should be Fp??
Thats such a shame Carole......when they take quite a while to grow, Mum has a dark red Cordyline which was just looking something....but back to the beginning again now......:o(
Thanks David.....have bought some seeds today for sowing in Feb....can't wait...:o)
We have lots of these things in our garden centres, Gilli, ..you can get massive baby Bluetits and Robins...some with a gap in the back for planting...theres only baby Woodpecker there and I'm itching to get it, as I shan't ever have a real one visit the garden.........
I know what you mean San....but then what's the harm in it.....think the woodpecker costs the same as 20 ciggies and much better for you..Lol!

OH he does look good Janey! This is a lovely fresh arrangement with all the greens - could have been taken in summer! Glad the Phormium is thriving - it should form a nice clump within about 2 years I would think. It's got interesting leaves hasn't it - lots of different shades of green in narrow stripes. My one is looking very sad indeed, but a tiny bit of it is still alive, so I'm HOPING that I will be able to transplant it out and grow it on, fingers crossed! I love the owl BTW :-)
