Wisley

Haven’t been for quite a few years but decided to go having found a bus that stops just a few hundred yards away.
I had forgotten how much there is to see there. It was about £9.50 entrance but there was a special offer of £’36 for a year to include the magazine and cheaper tickets for Chelsea, Hampton Court etc. and ‘take a friend’, so of course I joined! However I’m sure to go back to Wisley, even though it’s an hour on the bus.

Oh I'm glad you all enjoyed the pics. I did have a coffee and a sandwich Sticki - just so I could have a rest really.I took pics of the names of the plants Motinot so I could remember the ones I liked (should have taken a notebook). I thought I would try and go at least once every couple of months to check the changing seasons, as you suggested Sticki. I also loved the bookshop and next time I will try to visit the Plants for Sale bit -ran out of time.

It's about 20 miles from me so I can pop down there fairly easily whenever the mood takes me. Sometimes, I just visit the Plant Centre (should I mention that at the next Plantaholics Anonymous meeting?)

Good to see Wisley again, Ginellie, as I haven't been for about seven years! We visited with our daughter, as she needed to attend their vast Library for part of her University course. Pleased to say she gained her degree! Wisley looks wonderful ... :o))

Lovely photos Ginellie! My Mum used to live near here, so we used to go quite frequently years ago. I think I need to brave the M25 and visit again - but will have to save up! The Plant Centre is fabulous but expensive . . .

I'm planning a return visit for the Flower Show 8-11th September. Must make use of my subscription and this looks worth seeing.

Oooh - I would have come to that and met up with you Ginellie! However, I shall be somewhere in darkest Brittany, so maybe some other time?
