I was very shocked to read yesterday that Val had died.. I didnt go on here much before Christmas as been busy with family etc.
Val was a lovely lady who I met with her husband Ralph when they visited me a few years ago while they were down this way.
I will miss her on here and I’m sure she’s up there building a garden in heaven xxxxx

holly, you were so lucky to meet val in real life! We are all still feeling so sad about her going so suddenly, but I'm sure she isn't sad at all now. I'm sure she is quite at peace and happy where she is and sending us all love. Well done on choosing the perfect Yorkshire Rose. I was born in Yorkshire, but had no clue about Yorkshire day! Thanks for that bloomer!

Thank you karen, yes I expect val is watching over all our gardens.... she will be thought of on here for a long long time, we only spent a couple of hours together, and I remember her walking up to the sea front which was not far, but val had trouble walking but she made it with her husband Ralph, then back home for tea and cakes, thats my memory of her, she was going to come back when down this way again.
