Fruit blossom in my garden.

The fruit trees are looking so lovely blossoming the best they ever have. I took a few photos as I sauntered around the garden looking to see what had survived the deep frosts last month. The pear trees are looking lovely glowing white..
The plum tree too..
The Cherry tree always look beautiful in blossom, it’s a shame the birds get to eat most of the fruit as it’s too difficult to net now it has grown so tall.
Even the very young one.
The Cheals weeping crab apple is gorgeous in pink..
And the malus Gorgeous is beginning to put out blossom
The Japanese Quince have been flowering for a few weeks. I have never had any fruit from these though.

My plum tree is in flower now but for the last two years hasn't had any plums and when there is some, they are diseased. It's very old now and was in the garden when we first moved here. That first year was laden with lovely plums, but none since!

Thanks Grandad gardener. Fingers crossed you get to sample some cherries before the blackbirds get them all. :>)

Rose what a shame. I get some kind of disease on some of my Greengage plums. Just a few thankfully. The tree is too big to spray so I leave it to do its own thing. When we moved here T took down its sister tree when we were flattening the top garden. The following 2 years we got no fruit. Then a small sapling took of by the side of it, produced blossom and hey presto fruiting again..

This year does seem to be a good one for blossom, and with the weather it seems to have arrived at the same time this year & not in dribs & drabs.
I join you in admiring cherry blossom and wishing, one day, to eat some cherries
