Lovely blog, Sheila! I felt like I was walking around your garden with you.
The blossom on your Greengage is beautiful, I just love the buttery yellow colour! It’s abundantly blooming too!
Your magnolia is thriving isn’t it, and it’s displaying well for you! Lovely to see your daffodils and hellebore continuing to flower, is it campanula in the blue pot? It looks positively glowing! Mine seems to have vanished after starting to bloom last month! Your Pieris is far ahead of mine..looking pretty.
Your pond area is looking smart too, love the vividness of the yellow plant, so lush.
It’s been sunshine here for a couple of days and again this morning, but it’s very chilly..hopefully April will be warmer!

So much colour & interest. Ty for the tour. That Clematis is lovely & doing a grand job of covering the water butt. Nice pots too. The acorn one is very unusual.

A lovely tour of your garden, thank you Homebird. It is further into Spring than mine down here in the Chilterns, the blossom is only just breaking on our fruit trees and the buds on my marsh marigolds and Elsa Spath clematis barely formed. Much of my garden is in the shadow of the house so it is inclined to lag behind everyone else. My heart lifted when I saw the initial mauve haze on a wall of aubretia in Chesham at the beginning of the week, yet yours is much more full of promise. I like your pots too, what a find!

I hope everyone has had a really nice Easter. Lots of chocolate for the chocoholics and flowers for everyone else. We had all the family here so it’s been a bit hectic but I am always so happy to have them here all together.
We got to mow the overgrown raggy lawns yesterday and its made a vast difference. It’s so good to be gardening again.

We had a quiet Easter, no chocolate eggs until today when a £10 one was reduced to £3 in the supermarket ... it fell into the trolley! It does wonders for the soul to be out gardening once more.

Ha!ha! Shirley. It was a lovely day yesterday wasn’t it. Yes it was windy but blue sky and a warm wind, such a change from the cold wet weather we have had for ages.
