Well, so far, my Fuchsias have been slow … as usual.
Other people get lots of lovely Fuchsias early in the year, but mine are always slow to get going, and most of them don’t seem to produce any buds until August or September.
However, there are a few that have some nice blooms at the moment, so I’ll show them to you … :-

I thought that it was just me that had late Fuchsia flowers!

They are all so beautiful, Hywel. I can't decide which are my favourites, but I think Quasar and Hidcote Beauty. My fuchsias were very late last year, but have been earlier this time around. I don't know whether that's because of the weather or not. Such lovely plants, aren't they? :-)

Such a lovely varied selection,Hywel..only one of mine flowered early, the others are plodding on ,although not as many flowers as usual...'Lena' is only just starting, but it's always a later one..I couldn't say which of yours would be my favourite,as i love them all.:o) x

All really lovely but for me Hidcote Beauty takes the gold. And isn't Earre Barre unusual?

They are looking lovely. Mine are the same and don't really start flowering until late July/August, but like last year they sometimes continue to flower until November.

Thought I was bad with six fuschia's all flowering, but yours are stunning and so many, and that's only half of them. Very nice

Mine are also slow this year but being in Northumberland, everything is about a month behind your gardens in the south (you lucky people)! Most of mine are in bud so can't wait for them to burst forth!! I noticed on some blogs and pictures that some of your gladiolii are in full bloom. Mine aren't even in bud yet!! It must be that North, South divide they keep talking about.
