Autumn in my garden

I’ll show you some photos of what’s been colourful in my garden this autumn …
Fuchsias always do well for me from August onwards :-
Delta’s Sarah :-
Margaret :-
Phyllis :-
Casper Hauser :-
One Clematis in particular is making a comeback – I haven’t seen it for several years but this autumn it’s flowering profusely,
It’s called ‘Ville de Lyon’ :-
I planted some Gladioli quite late, and didn’t think they’d come to anything, but I’ve actually now got a nice pot-full :)
I’ve got lots of Primorses, I find they flower on and off through summer and autumn, although slugs enjoy them :-
Autumn leaves …
Ginko biloba :-
Stephanandra incisa ‘Crispa’ :-
Oak leaves, Quercus robur :-
I love the colour of the Aster fricartii which flowers every autumn:-
The Japanese Anemonies seem to become thugs in my garden, but I have a small ‘well behaved’ one that stays as one clump and grows 2 – 3 feet in height -
Anemone hupehensis ‘Little Princess’
Lastly I want to show you this white Passiflora, it has flowered all summer long and the last flower only faded about a week ago :-
I don’t know about you, but autumn is my least favourite season. Even though there’s still much colour around I always feel miserable in the autumn.
Strangely enough I’m better after the clocks go back … and that won’t be long now :)

Hywel, I do like autumn!!! Cosy, snug, the foggy mornings, Halloween ( my sister's birthday), colourful foliage, Indian Summer if we're lucky, crisp underfoot 'walks'..my list goes on. My favourite is summer though. Not a lover of winter...
You've an abundance of colour in your garden! Lots of things blooming in mid autumn. I'd love just to be able to have a Japanese anemone survive!!!
Your aster is such a pretty one.
I've a neighbour and a patient , both have passiflora blooming really well!

Love all the colour in your garden, Hywel. The Gladiolas are fab, also your Fuchsias & that Passion Flower. Pity that you don’t like autumn much. Maybe something bad happened in your life at that time, perhaps a long time ago. I just enjoy all the colour. Don’t like Winter though, unless it’s sunny & cold, & not cold & damp!

You do so well with your fuchsias Hywel, mine have finished flowering now, so ready to be stored soon.
The Gladioli are stunning, I've not seen any like these before.
I took have the white Passion flower, it's called Constance Elliott. Mines grown through my cherry tree late summer so the cherry tree has been in flower too!

I always loved your fuchsias Hywel, so many varieties.
You have lots of colour in your garden in this time of the year. Mine is mostly green and yellow.
I love autumn but my favourite time in our garden is spring.

Your Fuchsias are cracking Hywel but I have to say your Gladdys are the best!

You've had lots of lovely colour through your Autumn. How marvellous that your Ville de Lyon has made a comeback. It's rather pretty. I have to say that Gladioli is my favourite though.
