A trip to Puerto Rico Gran Canaria

The weather was so depressing at the end of October. I decided to go to my new friend the computer. After looking up travel guide on the Internet up came Puerto Rico average teem24c Hotel Gloria Palace . Said to my darling wife what do you think she had one look at it and said that is for us. Booked it for 11Th of November for one week. Arranged a flight with Air Lingus after a couple of weeks of we went with bags packed just like a couple of teenagers. We were collected by the hotel coach from the airport half hour drive signed in directed to our room by the porter.Had a lovely room with large balcony with sea view.It took eight hours from leaving our home in Dublin not bad. Now if you can bear with me I will show some photos of our stay.

Lovely sunny photos ... just showed them to OH and he said "well, we stayed near there about 10 years ago!" ... we took our daughter and 3 of her friends after they'd sat their 'A' levels ... daughter went para-gliding ... I couldn't bear to watch! Love the sunset photo! Booked up to go again yet? : o ))

I cringe when I see the destruction of the environment with those monster resorts that so many seem to enjoy.
A pity you did not have the chance of checking Lanzarote.
Cesar Manrique Cabrera, probably one of the best landscape architects for dry/hot gardening environments.

hi John,lovely pics of a lovely place..we went years ago and stayed at the top of the hills with about 200 steps down to the town think we done it twice then got the bus after that ..my daughter was also there a few weeks ago & loved it ..thanx for sharing :o)
