Well, I’m a self confessed roseaholic – just bought another 3 today so here they are for you Pipsqueak – this is a climber – Compassion
Auckland Metro at its best
http://media.growsonyou.com/photos/blog_photo/image/24490/main/IMG_1025_2_.jpg!
Midnight Blue – very unusual
Iceberg
Hamilton Gardens also named after a city in NZ
Summer Passion – opens out to apricot centre
!
Hot Chocolate
Elena – a lovely soft lemon
Dont’ know the name of this one but will have to find out. Really long stems – great for picking
Gisborne 2000 – a lovely yellow bred for the millenium – we’re the 1st city in the world to see the sun.
Bergundy iceburg – it has the same flowering habits and form as the white iceberg – really good value
Opulance – photo does not do this one justice…it just looks like velvet
Double delight – a real stunner
Candy floss
Mary Rose – very early flowering
Hot Chocolate in brilliant sunshine…looks quite different
Not a rose but I couldn’t resist including this one…may have to do a blog on sunsets…I just love them

You have some lovely roses - especially like the Midnight Blue and that Auckland Metro. The Tequila Sunrise, though, really does take your breath away.

Thanks for that Judz. Compassion is one I have never grown but intend to in the next garden as it always gets good reviews from other GoYers. Love to see photos of Auckland Metro if my memory serves me right you paired it with Hot Chocolate, lovely.Tequila Sunrise and Iceberg are stunning and as for Midnight Blue the flower is so unusual and pretty colour.
I will have to cut and paste to see Summer Passion but am sure it wil be worth it.
Thanks again Judz :~)))

One's lovelier than the next! Can you note by the name any that have exceptional fragrance? e.g. Hamilton Gardens or Midnight Blue (very unusual indeed)? Was lucky someone had planted Hot Chocolate here, but too shady for many blooms: rich undertones.

I have Compassion too, it's so pretty.
I really like Tequila Sunrise too, that's a new one to me - i've not looked at roses for years and am just starting to get back 'into' them now !
