A little walk (with a bit of gardening as well)

Near the place I live there is a canal which at the begining of last century was used to transport coal and loam to Newport. Now it is pretty much a history and wonderful place to walk along…
There are few little bridges to walk under.
There are few nice boats ‘parked’ along the bank. this one is called ‘Snail’
but hey, what’s that stuff on the roof???
let’s take a closer look…
but how do you get all the heavy compost bags from parking which is so far away???
simple!!!
use a wheelbarrow, lol
another nice boat on our way.
last look at the beautiful Wales landscape and time to go home…
Hope you enjoyed the walk as much as I did.

Thank you guys for the comments. Have to admit - Wales is so beautiful, so picturesque... I am just discovering my area, recently bought myself a map with all the public footpaths - so it should be easier to discover new places without being lost, lol

Just looked through these pics again and enjoyed them just as much as the first time! What a beautiful canal. I had a look at a map and saw that it goes right up to Brecon - it must be a lovely stretch to take a boat along.
The first picture with the meadowsweet is really beautiful.
