My 'Japanese corner'

I love japanese gardens. Hope one day I will have more space to create proper garden with basic elements of it. Now I just have to live with what I got – few meters by the fence.
Kept few plants in my front garden.
Some of plants were in my back garden
But one day I decided to group all plants together in one place
Amongst my plants there is an unnamed clematis. Got it from a friend who didn’t like it anymore.
Bit of TLC and it started to grow like crazy!!! It needed bit of support – a trellis for example? Another clematis sitting in the opposite corner – so we are talking about covering 2 fence panels. Bit expensive to buy trellises – so why not to make it by myself?
All handymen reading this – please do not laugh (too loud, lol)
So decision made – I am making a trellis. Why not to make it a japanese style trellis?

Ok – next step – to attach shorter parts of bamboo sticks using string.
Read somewhere that wet string is better. Let’s see:
While string is taking a ‘bath’ let’s see how to tie a japanese knots.
I need to have a closer look.
Now it’s time to practice it a bit

It really was cheap to do. Feel free to copy and ask about advice, lol.
Wouldn't recommend wet string - when it dried out it became loose - had to redo some knots:)

Thank you Tuesdaybear - I will try to take a picture this weekend and put it on. There are few changes - had to move those nice brown pots back to front garden. And Masha says 'meow' - 'thank you' :)
