Travelling back to east Yorkshire a couple of days ago, from Lincolnshire.
I stopped off on a country lane for a quick lunch break..couldn’t resist the scenery.
It’s nice sometimes to stop for ten minutes or so, switch off and just take it all in !
I know some people don’t like rapeseed, but, I love the colour on a bright sunny day. The contrast is usually striking.

It looks amazing against a clear blue sky.

I love rapeseed - we were lucky enough to have a very small amount in our garden last year - birds brought it (or maybe the mice) - either way it was beautiful. Lovely photos!

Thanks Sunnydais, I love it too! Always cheers me up when I’m driving around!

love the sight I just don't like the smell. several fields around the village have it in flower at the moment too. lots of pollen beetles too.

Love the blue against the yellow; smashing photos.

Thanks Julia! Love Cornwall too, another beautiful county of ours!
Thanks Seaburngirl, much appreciated.
I know what you mean about the smell! Lots of people suffer with rapeseed at this time of the year.

It does affect me very slightly, but nothing like some poor people. But I love to see it in the fields. Not so pretty when it ripens though!

I have to agree with you Karen.

Hate Rapeseed, it's a murderous plant that is sprayed to death (literally) over the course of it's growing. Then it is sprayed with Gysophate to kill it off before waiting for it to dry to harvest it. Meanwhile it has spread to all the verges (and gardens) in the area. Ghastly stuff!

Lovely scenes especially nice to see a normal sky.

Yes it's nice to be able to see what surrounds you.
