Blurry Bird Blog!!!!

Apologies for the really blurry, dreadful captures! OH spotted 5 Long Tailed Tits flitting around the back garden. I had to be ultra quick to get some shots! So, it was phone camera and not my actual camera.
It was unusual to see them in our garden at this time of year, we usually see them in Spring – albeit, fleetingly.
I was just pleased to see them!!!

Well done Kate, it’s so lovely to see them … our favourite little birds. Thank you!

That sounds lovely, Julia! I'm pretty sure hearing their chattering is really delightful!

That's good to hear, Ange. We saw them flitting from tree to tree and through the shrubbery. You're so right - they move so quickly, I was surprised to catch them at all!

Aw, thanks, Sheila! I can see why they are a favourite of yours, Julia and Ange! They are very attractive birds.

They are gorgeous little things. The girls call them flying lollipops.
you did well to get those photos, I have never had any decent shots at all.

We had a sheltered spot at the top of our last garden, and one day OH came racing to fetch me. There were ten baby long-tails squashed in a row on a branch, just fledged! We hadn’t even known there was a nest there - just heard a lot of squeaking. They’re adorable 🙂.

The pictures are still good Kate!
You are so lucky having them visit! We used to get quite a few when we lived in Laceby.

I thought the pics were very good taken with your phone. I get them in my garden sometimes, always in a little group. I think they’ re cute little birds. I was so pleased to have a song thrush in the garden recently, they don’t often visit.

What a thrill to see ten in a row. Well done to the photographers.

Thanks everyone, lovely feedback, Sue, Klahanie, Eileen, Sheila, Rose, Josee and Sue!
I was so excited as it's unusual, they were fleeting as seen in the past, but, not as early to visit!
The little acer is close to a window where I sit and I managed to take the pics quite manically before the flew off!
Sheila, 10 little babies!!! That must have been pretty special to see 🤗

How great was that, we haven't seen any of our usual tit family in a couple of years, new neighbours moved here in recent years, a lot of trees and the hedgerows were cut right back, plus building work going on three doors up, fingers xx now things are more settled the little birds will return for us.... Best Wishes for 2023 Kate x

You did very well Kate with your phone camera! Lovely pics of such a sweet little bird, my favourite. I love the way they dip and dive when flying, and those long tails, gorgeous to see..

We usually hear them before we see them. Lovely little birds, quite one of my favourites - they love the fat balls here. Well caught, Kate, they're moved on in a minute!
