Driving round Lincolnshire yesterday..sunshine in the morning then, crikey, it was sheeting with rain non stop for a few hours.
I managed to snap a few pics fortunately, I was hoping to take some more, but the rain was so heavy the pics would’ve been so poor.
As I left North Kelsey late afternoon, I drove out if the village and was met by 2 range rovers up to their door handles in heavy flooding along the little road.
I did a 3 point turn and took the long way round.
Many fields were flooded quite badly.
Some unmerry weather…

Wild garlic in woodland near Broughton.

Bluebells in woodland near Kirton Lindsey.

Wisteria in bloom, Snitterby.

Bluebells outside Noth Kelsey church.

Your cactus is doing well! Does it set seed? Do you know what the other one is?

Thanks Sheila, it's therapeutic and I can stop for a breather in between visits...even if only for a few minutes.

Thank you. Julia, it was quite worrying. I thought I'd have to stay over in Lincolnshire at one point!
Thanks for liking too.

Hi Sue, the 2 pics are from one of my chaps collections in his conservatory. I'll ask him.

lovely Kate , the wisteria is a stunner . Trying to get some hope this summer with weather . Due to high pressure anchored nw of UK it has fed cloud for months as a rule. Still wearing woolly hat in may lol

All that rain ! I'm glad you took a different route.
Nice photos, I grew up near a bluebell wood, it's a wonderful sight to see.
Are the cacti yours ?

Bluebell woods, the loveliest thing in the world!
You live in a pleasant area, Kate. As for rain and cloud, I'm with Paul, - I can barely be polite about the weather this year so far.

Thanks Paul, I've seen a few lovely ones on my travels this week in the villages.
I know. I do hope we start to see some warmer, sunnier weather soon - for a longer period. It's June soon!

Thanks, Hywel. It was horrid. Lots of 'ponds of water' in the farm fields too, its either all or nothing. I've been lucky to enjoy some lovely woodland scenery this week. I, too, grew up on the doorstep to woodland, lovely!
The cacti are one of my chap's I visit. He has a few lovely specimens. I'm seeing him again next week.

Thank you, Ange. I definitely enjoy the views from my 'office'!
We've had hit and miss weather..misty and chilly early at 8am. By lunchtime, warm sunshine!
