They arrived late this year
They are even smaller than Anna’s but very bossy and already chasing all Anna’s around and making their life difficult.

They will stay with us until August and then head back south.

We love them and have lots of feeders for all of them plus soon they will have plenty of wild flowers around to keep them happy..

I looked these lovely birds up on-line and am amazed that they migrate from Alaska to Mexico ... such a long journey for such a tiny bird!

How I envy you,having these beautiful Birds in your Garden,Klahanie, Their colours and the arrangement of the feathers around their necks are wonderful,just looks like a very expensive necklace ! :o)

What a beautiful little bird!!! Beautifully captured, Klahanie. I'd love to see this little lady in my garden!!! Her colouring is so attractive. Hopefully she continues to visit you regularly.
