Trying new things

Last year I paid $4 for 10 seeds of the black pearl pepper. For the first time I have tried saving the seeds to see if I may have a repeat display without the expense.
Although I was very awe stricken by the plant buying new seeds each year seemed expensive. I googled “saving seeds” and obtained my answers on “how to.” And I had no other pepper plants so cross pollination is not a concern.
This pepper is edible but comparable to the habanero in terms of heat. Next time I’ll wear latex gloves while retrieving the seeds LOL.
Within the next week I will be planting the seeds and waiting anxiously to see if I have success.
